The International Scientific and Educational Centre for Accreditation of Ophthalmologists and Optometrists Crystal Vision was established - a leading organization for advanced training of ophthalmologists and nursing staff.
Crystal Vision was accepted into the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) as a training center in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismology for ophthalmologists from around the world.
The Crystal Vision Eye Clinics initiated the creation of the Association for Ophthalmology and Strabismus in Russia, in order to protect the interests of ophthalmologists, as well as to develop strabismology in the Russian Federation as an industry. Igor Aznauryan, head of the Crystal Vision Eye Clinic, became the President of the Association.
The First International Conference of Ophthalmologists-Strabismologists STRABO 2019 "New Technologies in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Ocular Pathology" was held.
Crystal Vision organized and held an unprecedented conference of Ophthalmologists-Strabismologists in Russia over the past 50 years, which gave an opportunity to get a lot of cutting-edge ophthalmological technologies and treatment methods from around the world and apply them in Crystal Vision practice. The speakers included experts from 29 countries from USA, Belgium, UK, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Singapore and Taiwan. The uniqueness of the event lies in the fact that for the first time in the history of Russian strabismology (since 1979) the best ophthalmologists from different countries gathered on one platform to discuss topical issues of diagnostics and treatment of oculomotor pathologies.
The Second International Moscow Congress of the Association for Ophthalmology and Strabismus in Russia STRABO 2021 "New technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of oculomotor pathology" was held.
